Who’s Behind This Site?
I’m not a professional detailer—but I’ve been obsessed with clean, shiny cars ever since I got my first set of wheels. While others were fine with a quick car wash, I took the time to make the tires, trim, and wheels pop. I’ve always believed that a shiny tire gives a car that finished, showroom-ready look—even if it’s just parked in your driveway.
What started as a hobby quickly turned into a passion for testing, comparing, and experimenting with every tire shine I could find. Along the way, I’ve learned what makes a product perform (or fail), what’s worth your money, and how to avoid the greasy mess and dreaded sling that comes with some low-quality formulas.

Why I Started This Website
Like many of you, I’ve spent too much money on products that promised a perfect shine but didn’t deliver. I created Good Tire Shine to cut through the marketing hype and give car lovers a place to find trusted reviews based on real use, not just product claims.
I’m also using this journey to learn everything I can about tire and trim care—from the chemistry of silicone emulsions to the science of surface bonding. My long-term goal? To develop my own tire shine product that’s effective, affordable, and easy to use.
